Gangland feud reignites as man shot near airport - National News, Frontpage - Independent.ie: "MAN was rushed to hospital after being shot by a gunman in a hockey mask as a result of a gangland feud boiling over again.

Lonely Planet Dublin (City Guide)The injured man, who was being treated at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin last night, is in his 40s and is awaiting trial on larceny charges.

The victim was sitting in a parked car in a lay-by close to Dublin Airport when a dark coloured saloon-type car pulled in and a gunman got out of the passenger side.

The gunman opened fire, hitting him in the arm, before fleeing in another vehicle.

The gunman is described as being 5' 10'' to 5' 11'' in height and was wearing a high visibility jacket and an ice-hockey-type mask or visor.

A second man sitting in the passenger seat of the car, a Volkswagen Bora, escaped unhurt."
