Ducarme Joseph owes Revenue Quebec almost $300,000: "Reputed street-gang leader Ducarme Joseph has had a legal mortgage of $283,743 imposed on his luxury home in Dollard des Ormeaux.
That's the amount of unpaid taxes and interest Revenue Quebec says he owes for 1994, 1995, and 2010. The mortgage is a lien on the stone-facade home on Radisson St. It is on the market for $1.6 million. He bought the six-bedroom property in 2008 for $1.35 million.
Joseph, 41, is believed to have been the target of a daytime shooting at a boutique in Old Montreal March 18. Joseph fled through the back door, but his bodyguard and another man were killed in the gangland-style attack.
He has been convicted of cocaine trafficking, assault, sexual assault, and forcing a 12-year-old to prostitute herself."
