Scores arrested in major gangs crackdown across USA cities "In a major nationwide crackdown on illegal street gang activity, 41 gang members were arrested in five cities, the US Justice Department has announced.

Authorities said it was a co-ordinated law enforcement effort aimed at crushing a wide range of violent criminal activity. The FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials were involved.

Federal criminal charges were slapped on seven members of the Click Clack gang in Kansas City, 12 Colonias Chiques gang members in Los Angeles, two members and associates of the Sureno13 and San Chucos gangs in Las Vegas, seven MS-13 members in Washington, DC and 13 Tri-City Bombers members and associates in McAllen, Texas."
