Police are on the hunt for a killer after the Torontos sixth murder of the year.

Police are on the hunt for a killer after the city's sixth murder of the year. The two men and a woman were attacked in a brazen early morning shooting at 1764 Weston Road just before 8am Sunday. One of the men was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries Sunday afternoon.Another victim drove to the Humber River Regional Hospital in a black BMW, which police seized for evidence. The city's Emergency Task Force was on the scene, and forensics combed the area for evidence all morning."Preliminary investigation reveals the location appears to be an after-hours booze can," noted Det. Glen McBryde of Toronto Police. But the officer made no connection between the shooting and another 12 hours earlier in the area, in which a 47-year-old man was hit in the stomach.Area Resident, Les, is one of many shocked by the recent violence."What if it was a Monday, and there were children going to school? What about the young people who have nothing to do with this and a stray bullet hits them in the head?" Neighbour, Carmen, agreed."This is our city, and we're supposed to have a peaceful city, you know?" Police don't know if they're dealing with more than one suspect in the Weston Road shooting, but they are investigating.
